That was a good article. I found out that they were still actually doing a season 2 of Russian Doll.
I really did think it just slipped away as another cancelled show.

But I get that all the time, especially were you can binge shows altogether and then you have to wait. I have seen other commentary around that.
When you binge, you remember more of what is happening at the time, but less later when the next season starts.

Although I was lucky with shows like Breaking Bad & BCS. We didn't start watching it until several seasons in. By the time we caught up, the next season started.

I always maintained that the Indiana Jones movies were made in the genre for the period in which they were set - 1930's serials, 1940's war films, and 1950's sci-fi/invasion paradigm. Well, at least that's what I told myself.

Maybe Boba belongs in the 1980's after all. (I know, Holiday Special was before that...)

I went out with a chick some years ago who it turned out had never seen any Star Wars film. So together with some nerdy friends we held a movie marathon to watch the entire original trilogy which she ended up really enjoying. A short while later, just before the The Force Awakens came out, I suggested we could also watch Revenge of the Sith which was the only prequel I hadn't seen yet.

We lasted less than twenty minutes before she refused to watch any further. The dialogue and special effects certainly sucked, but one thing put her over the edge: she couldn't handle the crappy posh accent Ewan McGregor was putting on as obi-wan.
