Shaving cream is total bullshit. About a month ago just to be a cheap fuck I started splashing warm water on my face and running the razor under the hot tap for a few seconds. It works just fine, it's not any slower, the shave is just as close, it doesn't hurt and there are no cuts or bumps or rashes.
I feel pissed that I've been wasting my money all these years. |

cream is bullshit.. shaving oil and gel are fantastic

Can't you see? It's obviously a terrorist gesture. Well, that's what Fox News called it, so it must be true. (no I'm not kidding) |

Agree it's not noteworthy, esp when it's actually saving taxpayers dollars rather than the usual splurge. But then you just have to take a second to think if the tables were turned, you know hellen, cullen & crones would be all over something minor like this as well. So fair game. They've set the tone.

Yep - scratching around for stories alright. I've got one for them: Our company has marketing brochures that have good-looking, carefree, smiling people in executive suits using laptops and pointing at screens. THEY DON'T EVEN WORK FOR OUR COMPANY! THEY ARE JUST MODELS!!
Reminds me of a Close Up "story" the other night. Some 'expert' was taking a reporter around a supermarket pointing out the evil, manipulative, callous tricks that they pull on you to get you to buy stuff. You know how the confectionery stands are right next to the checkout? TURNS OUT THEY DO THAT TO TEMPT YOU WHILE YOU'RE WAITING IN LINE!!! Same with those massive displays of Cocoa Pops. IT'S SO YOU THINK "MMMM... COCOA POPS!!!". No wonder people from overseas chuckle when they watch "New Zealand" news.
