Yeah - did mine on Jan 2nd - after a dump run at 8:00am, and included undoing all the house xmas lights. Previous experience led me to install a small thermometer just above the manhole. It was reading 34°C just after 9:00am and I hadn't got all the crap boxed up by then

and I'm not even in the sunburnt country.

Eldest kid turns 5 on the 9th of Feb.
School term starts on the 7th of Feb.

Local school website says "We only have one intake of of children at the beginning of each term", but then has dates for "mid-term cutoffs" with term 1 cut off being 4th March. Cut off of what? Does that mean you *can* take kids after start of term?

As far as I can tell, not a single soul at the school starts working until the 29th, which leaves us with a week preparation if they allow him to start the week after the 7th.

Yes yes ok perhaps we should have found this out before end of school last year... but still. Shit is confusing yo.

Looking at the names and history - I think I may have gone to school with that ass clown. I remember the square being cordoned off one morning when I was still working there (late 80's) which would mean Craig would have been around my age, so he could have teenage kids now. (If he had a late start perhaps due to being in an environment of mostly men for a bit...). The Craig I knew also had an older brother, but I can't find any references to the event that puts one older than the other.

I'll have to check with my siblings - not net records of the kids of South Shore in the 80's.
