My flat mates got a 60 mage who's been in the same guild as my warlock for a couple of months longer ... he threw a bit of a tanty when I passed his number of epics in two MC runs

Hakkar Phants, he's actually bloody easy once you get past Thekal and Arlokk. It's not one of his more common drops though.

Reminds me, I still want the shield he drops, time to schedule another run.

Hakkar is a joke after the shit you go thru to get to him. According to the R&D forum, they are going to make Hakkar harder, make Thekal easier, and reduce the number of trash mobs a bit in the future.

And yeah that shield he drops is awesome. I want the freaking heart tho :>

Yeah I have those. I don't like AP frost though because of the lack of utility/survivability so I'm sticking with 33/18 as a good all round PvP/PvE build.

Tangentially shield related, we summoned one of the Abyssal Council in Silithius last night. Was a random boss as we didn't have the quest line done to summon the specific ones, but sadly not the mob that drops the other awsome pre-BWL shield.

Was a fun fight, had no idea what to expect and only had 22 there. Managed it in the end with a bit of a graveyard zerg for the wanker to only drop some blue leather bracers.

But yer get the Tome of Shadow force from AV, easily the best Lock offhand pre BWL (which is even still debatable). Don Rodrigos is so-so.

Atm im using a Sorc Dagger (had it since first mc run :P) with ToSF (around +84 damage between them) its a pretty good combo but definatly looking for a Mageblade upgrade in the near future.

Hrmm, didn't know it was an AV reward, cheers for pointing that out! Will have to do some pvp grinding

Hoping to replace the soul harvester with either Fang of Venoxis, Mageblade, Sourcerous Dagger, or Bloodcaller. And that will last until I can get my mits on the Staff of Shadow Flame

(dropped Firemaw for the first time during this week, trying for at least Chromaggus this weekend).

Ran MC today upto Sulfuron (ran outta people and momentium by then so sadly didnt have the classes to down him), I managed to in one run, get the Cenarion Helm, Shoulders and Gloves and drop to the bottom of the DKP pile by a rather large mile!!

I remember someone saying "Cenarion drops like the rain in a storm" in these forums, I now totally agree and am glad he wasnt kidding!!!

Double my amount of epics in a few hours, was great!!
