Also how old is it (because they do loose their accuracy over time - some of them by quite a lot). Also what was it being held over (i.e. was it over concrete or similar substance which will radiate a lot of stored heat)? Not doubting you - just saying there is a lot which can affect temperature readings. Pixie

I'm not claiming my readings are accurate. What i'm claiming is that me, with a thermometer off some random gnome, does a better job at reading the temperature in WHANGAREI than all of jim hickeys bum chums down at MET. |

It feels more like 34 degrees, which is closer to 38 than 26, making my readings more fucking accurate. |

@ RQ Sounds like you're not taking into account the humidity. I was at the Auckland domestic airport about an hour ago, the board said 27 degrees. Came back to work, checked MET and it said "26.8 degrees, feels like 30 degrees"
I can't remember sweating so much, EVER. It's so fucking hot out there atm. |

MET says its 25.4 degrees but feels like 26...

@ RQ I reckon you should write a letter to your local MP, that's not on.

It's not just that, it's the mentality of "I believe my beliefs! I just know they're believable!"

It's too muggy. I went for a drive this afternoon and my windscreen iced up on the outside from the AC cooling the glass. As soon as I turned it off the ice buggered off and the inside fogged up. Crazy.

Fuck Woosh and their fucking bullshit. They are still experiencing the "bug" where their usage system is charging people data at the start of the month when that data has not been used. They are still refusing to notify their customers of this, and make no attempt to inform them of this when they call up asking questions and requiring usage top ups

not really, but it felt fucking good. my routine after getting home from work is to strip naked, stand in front of the fan with it positioned at my privates and just let out a big "AHHhhhhHhhhhhh" as it cools me down. Today's peel was the best in a long time though, it was fucking hot in Auckland.
