Obviously not. This is the entire fucking point. NOBODY can adopt children at the moment. NOBODY can take children who don't have passports out of the country at the moment. It doesn't matter that the guy who issues passports may or may not currently have his head crushed under a concrete slab - it's entirely beside the point. I popped in to DSE today to pick up a Funway Vol1 kit for the kids. I wasn't sure if it was just for the boy, or for the girl too. I mean, she does hair ties and dangly earrings, and I just try and pry him away from the PS3/XBox/DSi/PC etc to get him outside for some vitamin D. That said, over Xmas they made a couple fo simple kits, and were keen for more.

Anyway, while I am there, I decide to buy them out of all 4 1000uF electrolytic caps that they had (to fix dead HP LCDs with). I couldn't find a pen, so I committed the stock number to memory, wandered around a bit, grabbed a few more things, and then went up to the girly at the counter.

She dutifully scanned what she could, and then I mentioned the stock code for the caps, and she looked quizzically at the description when it was displayed, and I confirmed that's what they were.

Then she asked if I wanted a bag for "those blue thingies - what do you use them for anyway?"

Yeah - this is why Jaycar is making a killing. And that's why I'm gonna make sure my daughter makes all the items in the kit and understands how they work. Even if she is only 7. Then I'll take her out and buy her earrings.

sounds like a tool...post emails... although I always get developed by xyz removed from anything unless it got a cheaper price and is in the contract.
