For dps? Sure, it's awesome.
For tanking? Meh .. I'll keep my Quel'Serrar for now. |

I dont exactly play a warrior but I understand the mechanics..
More dmg = more dps = more rage? Also since dual weilding fury is so leet wouldnt a war want to kill 2 birds with one stone :O |

No one's disputing it's a great Fury DPS weapon (I'm fury spec and I'd really love to have one) but personally I wouldn't find that to be a good enough reason for a class lock. |

Most rage when you're tanking big bad raid mobs comes from getting hit. Edit: Heh, just saw your edit. nps |

Shit thats pretty nice. Good n fast. I always thought armor was a little redundant on anything but a druid weapon tho.

Yeah .. I'd rather have a few defense instead of the 100 armor, but I'm not gonna complain

Every single threat ability posessed by a warrior, prot or otherwise, has a static amount of threat with it. For example, Sunder is say 285 threat, Revenge is 350 threat, Shield Slam is 250 threat, HS is 175 threat.
These are all "innate" threat values. The only way to scale up your threat generation is to tack on white damage, and that of course comes from the weapons DPS (or AP + block value for shield slam). In an infinite rage situation you can spam HS, and in that scenario faster will generally be better, but outside of Vael I haven't found a mob yet that I can't empty my rage bar on while tanking. It's certainly not 2.0 speed of Quel, but neither is it the 2.8 of Spineshatter. If I didn't have a TF I'd absolutely pick up a Crul for tanking over anything else pre Naxx/AQ40. All imho of course. |

Again, IMO it's not, at least not unless your Warriors are still tanking with Timeworn Mace or Scarlet Kris. |

When your looking at the minimal % difference in threat generation from white damage, real stats on an item generaly gives it the weighter value.

Meh, Crul was a Tank (MT1 and MT2 only) priority weapon in our guild. Only one was prioritised because the MT2 has TF. Currently our MT1 uses it as his main tanking weapon (though he has several situational weapons). I think Widow's Remorse is the only thing he plans on replacing it with.
The MT is Ciderhelm, author of the stickied "guide to endgame tanking" on the warrior forums, needless to say he knows what's good and what's not :x |

imo tanks need +weapon skill and +hit and/or crit, needless to say the obvious + stamina.
Spineshatter is pretty sweet imo. I've never been a fanboy of quel.
