I remember quite vividly the fear and trepidation this guy instilled in Springbok supporters at the RWC 1995. There were all sorts of stories flying around about needing two of the best Bokke at the time just to slow him down.
A few years later he was a regular customer at a takeaway by which I was employed during high school - nicest guy, really friendly, and smiled every time our manager pretended she didn't know who he was GG big guy, Rest in Peace. |
