I hope that those of us (Pepsi and me at least?) who received Whitcoulls and Borders gift cards have spent them already:

SS - I bought Dracula, Sense and Sensibility, and Jane Eyre over the NY, about to crack into Dracula tonight! 3 classics for $20, good deal! THANKS

That is messed up aye. But at least they are accepting vouchers still. I remember when Blockbuster/Sounds/Gamesman went under, those vouchers were useless.

Hope you get something nice! I know that Snooki has released a book, I'm sure The Situation would approve of that purchase

I bought the 3 classics mentioned above - Dracula, Jane Eyre, and Sense and Sensibility. For some reason I cannot spend money (my own or other people's) on "popular" novels, they have to be classics. Probably because I'll never re-read a "popular novel" (bar Harry Potter) but I'll re-read classics.

A 20-year-old man who presented to the emergency room complaining of rectal pain had a stony hard mass in his rectum on examination.

An abdominal plain x-ray revealed an opaque mass. Further questioning revealed had been fooling around with his boyfriend several hours earlier. After stirring a batch of concrete, the man laid on his back with his feet against the wall at a 45 degree angle while his boyfriend poured the mixture through a funnel into his rectum. The mass hardened and became painful, forcing him to seek medical attention.

I wonder if they let him keep it. He could stick it on the mantelpiece, call it art and lol quietly as people admire his inner colon.

(small consolation for being the guy who had concrete up his ass though)

Pathologists provide great stories at dinner parties. I heard a similar story - the patient had passed out drunk at his stag do, and his "mates" had poured concrete up his ass. Great friends.

And I'm keen as beans this year too! The earlier we get given our ss the better
