Most of what he said is factually correct. I don't see that what is correct here matters too much, but then I'm a paid-up National and paid-up Maori supporter.

A vast number of labour supporters are neither moderate nor tolerant and it really would not be far from the truth to say that they hate people unless they are unemployed and heterosexual; granted they have some tolerance for employment so long as earnings don't tip into a net tax paying situation.

I view it as being good that these folk are reminded exactly what it is that they support. Also it is nice to be reminded of the mettle of your typical labour minister.
