RWC 11 Ticket Prices
So, what are your thoughts on this? I think it is rubbish and just tries to keep all the poor people away. Families who have dreamt about going to one of the finals are going to be disapointed. > $1000 per ticket!!!!!!!!! Come on.
What the hell.

Objection!
|
Live sporting events have almost always been crazy ripoffs. Most people go purely for the sake of skiting about being there and the organisers know how many people tie their social status to being able to go to such things.

Uh. Have you not been on this earth for the past 30 years? Since when has the final to the 3rd most watched event in the world suppose to have been cheap? Supply. Demand. Deal with it. |

I'd seriously consider paying $1000 for a ticket to the final to see the ABs. It would be something I would get a lot out of and probably a once in a lifetime thing.

I would rather secure tickets to watch some roller derby. Hard chicks knocking each other over in tight outfits? Hmmmm.

I know what roller derby is, you dyke. You'd rather watch that than go to a RWC All Black final?

Yeah. I like rugby every now and then but when Murray Dickhead on talkback and all his goons argue all the time about the state of it, the rule changes that happen more than a teenage drama queen changing clothes, and the way the teams played and blaming this and that, then obviously the game has a lot of issues that need to be sorted. I really can't be arsed. Would rather watch Roller Derby or Soccer. Simple.

I would happily pay up to $1400 for a good ticket in the final. The prices being charged for the RWC2011 final are dirt cheap compared to finals tickets for previous world cups in other countries too, bargain prices. I wouldn't be complaining at all.
