Poll Prediction: SBW to Start vs England Y or N?

Media seems convinced SBW will start. My vote says he won't start. (Bench MAYBE)

Bench for sure, thats kinda what Hansen alluded towards as well. I think if its remotely close he won't get a run either, no way will Henry risk not pulling it off.

A start would be an outrageous display of arrogrance. Granted this isn't the flashest team the Poms have fielded, but it's still the Poms at Twickenham and you have to go into the game giving them due respect.

I say Bench - They'll make it look like he's going to start so the English adapt tactics for him, then they'll change it. After 20mins they'll bring him on

He'll come on early in the second half

edit - with an enormous burden of expectation and could prove to be very shaky.

All i'm expecting is that the heavens open and a light shines down to guide his path to single handedly winning the game. After he comes off the bench.

I'm saying he'll come off the bench, score a possible try which goes to the video ref which gets given a No Try.

I predict he will be starting and Smith won't even be on the bench.

They definately have some confidence in him.

ABs team to play England.

Mils Muliaina, Joe Rokocoko, Sonny Bill Williams, Ma'a Nonu, Hosea Gear, Daniel Carter, Alby Mathewson, Kieran Read, Richie McCaw (captain), Jerome Kaino, Sam Whitelock, Brad Thorn, Owen Franks, Keven Mealamu, Tony Woodcock. Reserves: Hika Elliot, Ben Franks, Anthony Boric, Liam Messam, Andy Ellis, Stephen Donald, Isaia Toeava.

I'm just happy to see Gear in there.

Wtf SBW ain't even good yet. Dunno why people think we NEED him. We've got Smith and Nonu with Toeva and Kahui. We're fine.

Look at blooding a #10 and #7 replacement Henry you fucking retard.

Hope SBW storms off his line (as will Nonu without Smith to tell him not to be a schoolyard king hit seeking retard), and that the poms pull off a boring grindfest Twickenham win.

p.s: half of this forum could beat Joe Rock in a 100m sprint these days. Gear will show his talent and all the doubters will have to lick some asshole, but FFS Henry, wake the fuck up and quit slurping on that Fijian-Auckland cock.

Don't think anyone doubts Gear's quality, it was just a matter of time he got his All Black time.

Well well well SBW starting, that's putting some serious faith in the young man. I can't remember the last All Black debut I saw that wasn't off the bench! :P Starting in style, nice.

Eng -12 paying $7.25. That's pretty damn tasty given the SBW start.

The All Blacks haka is crap. The Kiwi's haka is AWESOME. The All Black haka should only be performed for Home OR Away games, one or the other, not both, make it special again.

The new Kiwis haka sucked shit. It looked lame and looked like they had no idea what they were doing.
It didn't feel like it flowed.

Yeah I didn't like it either, it sort of lacked a climax. I mean when the Kiwis do Ka Mate, much better than All Blacks IMO

More predictions? :P

Daniel Braid to start, McCaw and Carter rested. Read to captain. Messam on the bench.

This one was one of my favourites. I was trying to find the one where the Samoans and the Tongans went head to head with the Siva Tau and Sipi Tau before a match.

SBW + Conrad Smith combination for the match vs Scotland. I think it will work a bit better for him having Smith to partner with rather than Nonu. Smith has a more complete game, whereas Nonu is a bit more of a battering ram imo.
