Overall, I think I like it. Will rewatch again when the boy comes home from work.

Filming for the series took place in 185 locations around Auckland, New Zealand between July 2019 and March 2021 including the former Auckland Railway Station, Ardmore Airport, St Matthew's Church, Spark Arena, Waitawa Regional Park, and Kingsland railway station.

Foundation has reinforced to me how criminally wasted Lee Pace was as Ronan in the MCU.

They're taking a fair bit of artistic licence, but it's actually a fairly decent effort

Loved the first episode of Hawkeye. The caring dad vibes are the best.

Had a brief deep and meaningful with the lad, and we agreed that Antman was at the Battle of New York, but not the one Hawkeye was at.

For some reason I thought it was a movie until a few weeks back. It's much better as a TV show.

It's crazy how little time there is between new MCU content.

I hate to sound all redpilled but the show should have been named Mary Sue. Clint's a minor supporting character in a show about an angsty teenage girl who has freakish abilities for no apparent reason. May as well call her Rey Bishop.

The bits that Clint was actually in were ace though. The Rogers musical and the LARPers, so cringe.

In other news, however, I was a quivering wreck of Beatles fanboyness thanks to PJ's Get Back also hitting D+ over the weekend. Oh my god, what an experience.

Loving the beatles doco. Watching them roll in to play a snippet of some new (soon to be classic) tune they came up with the night before. Not for casual viewers though.

I liked Ep3 probably the best so far. He's got the middle aged Dad thing down - to the point where I was saying his lines before he was.

I thought it was really sweet how Clint couldn't even hear what his son was saying, but still knew what he'd say and responded accordingly.

Caught up with Get Back part 3. Good to see the context around the rooftop gig which I hold as such as iconic pop event that simply may not have happened if on the morning one of them didn't feel like it.

The finale of Hawkeye was an odd mix of goofy, emotional, Christmassy and dark. I really enjoyed it tho. Florence Pugh really nails her role.

It seemed that the mid-credits performance was really hinting at how despite saving the world, the Avengers had little to no impact on improving human affairs.

Goodness me - Boston Dynamics must have paid handsomely for that product placement.

Rebo to the Max.

And similar Western feel. Could maybe have done without the gratuitous parkour.

This (especially the parkour). Undecided if the series will be good, but still gonna watch it all

Finally got around to watching Band of Brothers after having it recommended more times than I can count. Completely agree with all the recommendations and superlatives that have described it to date; what a great show even 20 years later.

Also, anyone who has been following Yellowstone may find 1883 equally engaging; first three episodes have really set it up for a great season

Kevin Can Go Fuck Himself.

Saw it had the daughter from Schitts Creek so started watching it.
It started off as the worst ever sitcom with canned laughter and was close to stopping it. Kept watching it.
Very interesting concept.

Re: Kevin Can Go Fuck Himself, I'm expecting it to be very meta and self aware almost to Wandavision levels. It'll need to explore the overused tropes without actually being an overused trope itself. I'll watch it, see how it develops.
