Went to JB Hi Fi to replace an old CD that had gotten scratched. Sticker price was $28.99, I asked at the counter if they could do me a better price as it was a really old CD. *clicks a few keys* "How about $14 sir?"

That's why stores like Sounds crapped out. I mean, there's the obvious buying power of outfits like The Warehouse and JB Hi-fi, but Sounds would try to retain the value in old albums (Use Your Illusion II! 1991!) by selling it for over $30. Warehouse/JB realises that it's better to price old albums to sell and move them off the shelves quickly than to hold on to it for years and wait until some mug pays big bucks for an old album. When customers see that, they've move from Sounds to Warehouse/JB instead.

I'll not miss Sounds and it's ilk.

Yeah tried this with a CD cleaning kit I had, still wouldn't rip at 100% accurate and still had a couple jitters in some songs and one show stopper (could not get past jitter).

Spent the last two days at home and this was on the TV for most of the time. Sure it's mostly old skool South Park, the odd American Dad episode and a bunch of Best Of Saturday Night Live clips, but it's pretty darn entertaining!

yeah have seen a few Roasts now, it's great being able to catch more via TV. Love them in correct dosage. Saw Chris Rock's Best of SNL, that was cool. Watched Drew Carey's Roast last night, had some good lols. More!

No I didn't check with my doctor he doesnt know jack about meds anyway.
But yeah just taking it easy and being watchful.I actually feel better physically NOT having them.Don't feel so blitzed all the time.But the wife works at a mental care place for middlemore and doctors are just a phone call away if i need advice or anything.Laying off the beer in the mean time.
