Leading on from the WGMG thread (chipped tooth, wisdom teeth issues) - going to dentist and only paying $150 to have my wisdom tooth extracted AND having it extracted in 2 mins max and NO after pain. Kind of wished that I'd eaten before going though, man I'm hungry.

The big 'Ohhhhhh!!!' moment for me was - select the text you want to copy the format from - 'double-click' the paint-brush, and then it locks in place and you can just click to your heart's content.

Maybe everybody else already knew this... ?

always liked that - and yeah, surprising the number who don't know about - so I trying randomly double clicking on other buttons to see what happens - not as good as the format painter

Indeed - also that you don't have to select text, you can just click on a word in the sentence/paragraph (anywhere) and it formats the whole thing.

i was intending on making a casserole but created something else out of pure lazyness.

chopped up meat, fried in bottom of pot. added beef stock while browning. plus pepper, plus what i thought might have been too much worcestershire sauce. plus chopped spuds and kumara. not enough water (not quite covered). that was it.

by the time it had finished cooking (1.5hours later) with sitting time in the pot the water had almost all gone, and by the time we came to eat it all the liquid had gone. what was left were soft bite sized morsels with a nice tangy taste.
