This is old news isn't it? They had always said that due to his cancer he couldn't be counted on for the prequel.

they were making the prequel to give him time to recover i think, but then his cancer flared back up so hes fucked now

That new show The Lost Girl... gah.
I would say avoid but everybody needs to make up their own mind.
Most of the acting is bareable, some not, story is.. eh.
I'm gonner grab a few more epis to see if it improves but the pilot was not promising.

Merlin S3E1 was enjoyable tho. Should be a good season.

Dexter time soon. Can't wait.

nah they did the prequel because of his recovery
he was supposed to start or already have started filming season 2

Im quite liking it. Mind you the mega hottie and her cute sidekick might have a lot to so with that. Decent effects, story looks like it could go somewhere interesting. I'll give it a go for a while. Its a decent enough time waster as least.

I really liked the lighting in that Dexter poster until I started dissecting it (pardon the Dexter pun) and realized it was most likely a composite shot.

There's no way you could get the tight under lighting on Dexter without it spilling onto the blonde.

yah, and his right hand / arm seems missing also points to that. Her knees are against his chest yet you cant see his right hand under her legs, pretty sure you couldnt hold someone like that but then every marketing shot is chopped in some manner.

I'm really enjoying Rubicon. At episode 9, things are starting to come to a head, with Mrs Rhumor finding out about the API DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN.

For those that are watching, here are some things that annoy me, that I want to share:

1) If they're so goddam secretive, as in they have to leave cell phones at the door, can't take white papers out of the office, get swept for bugs every month and so on... why is their briefing room on the ground floor with windows to the outside world/traffic going past. Oh hello person with a high magnification lens on their camera, I see you're photo'ing all our secret stuff. Parabolic microphones? I don't think those exist in the real world. Except on Rugby fields. HMM. FFS even the GCSB in Nu Zeeland had a windowless building.

2) I wish Grant's marriage would just dissolve already, so he can bond with Miles over being separated. Honestly, he's clearly destructing it.

3) Andy (Andie?) needs to turn out to be working for the Shadow Corporation (name escapes me...) or at least the FBI. Totally expected her to walk to the window and signal whoever was going to be in Will's apartment when she woke up.

4) For a show that's about people that connect the dots, it's taking a long time for many dots to be connected. Good thing they're entertaining enough to watch regardless. But it needs some story progression or I can't see it making it to season 2...
