Apparently a place a few doors down from us was raided by the cops this morning.
Anyone see anything on the news sites? I can't see anything, maybe it wasn't news worthy.

Al Jazeera's coverage of Saudi Arabia's attack on Yemen is fantastic. They obviously weren't caught by surprise.

After school care freaks me out for some reason. Need to organise it for my sproglet starting school soon. Probably cause I never went to it myself as a young'un. I don't think any of my school friends went to after school care either, we all looked after ourselves just fine. Did it even exist in the 80s?

Sometimes I think Taylor Swift is an android imitating a human. She probably comes from the same factory as Tom Cruise.

I was the youngest, so I think technically my older brother and sister looked after me. Although I dont believe they were always around.
Im also not sure what age that started at. I'm pretty sure it was older than 5. |

"That's not a cake, it's a small windowless building!"
Something Google doesn't know: Where that quote is from. Does anyone know? If Google doesn't know about it, does it exist?

Replace "it's" with "that's". Generates results, not sure if it's/that's what you're after.

Do you need the original packaging etc to return something under CGA?
My power supply died but it was only purchased a week ago. I'm not one to hold onto boxes of things that work, so i biffed it. I'd much rather do a quick CGA return than have to go through a warranty process.

nope. intact packaging is only required for returns such as change of mind. if it's faulty the packaging is of no use. may help to securely package fragile items if the fault could have been caused by rough handling.
why are you saying CGA? is the supplier not playing ball? you didn't buy from ascent?

That's awesome.
Will have to take a look at it. Burning through 20-30gb a day (heavy days, mind you) turned me off the idea of Netflix, but as you say, it might have taken a bit to load up the cache. My heavy days were immediately after the NZ trial started. If it's cached/free, that could be a deal maker!

Talking about Netflix, we don't have net neutrality in NZ do we? ISPs are able to prioritise streaming video over other traffic if they like, aren't they?

I'm not sure exactly how it works but as I'm passing through DSCP I see (I think) how chorus/orcon prioritise their traffic. VoIP (sip) for example gets dedicated bandwidth through the 802.1q tag with 802.1p

Not sure how they're classifying the traffic there. If I keep watching I see more than just the 8 26 and 48 shown in that screenshot
