It also wasn't Barnes' call. The touchies said no. Barnes could have gone to the TMO, but would have felt that the touchies saw it.

I love the photo that everyone uses is the photo that makes it look like it is between the posts, however the controversial point was when it was above the posts.

Assuming Ted picks his #1 side to play Japan then I would expect to see Mills and Conrad back. I think Kahui has done enough to be retained on the wing and Jane to be on the other wing. Also obviously Mealamu back too.

Also, this
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/t...pension-of-RWC His hit on the Argentinian center (which injured him) was a well timed late hit. Then slid in knees first at the prop, very happy to see him get a suspension.

No Dan Carter. Slade starting, Cowan on the bench with Weepu providing cover for Slade.

Well as much as it sucks for Mils to not play his last Hamilton test match, I'm really looking forward to seeing my favourite player running at fullback! Go Ice!!

No way Mils would miss his last all black test in hamilton if he had a choice. He's in serious jeopardy of not cracking 100 now.

Feel sorry for Slade - he's definitely not the backup we need. Piri is a better number 10 at this point.

Did you guys see that behind-the-back offload by one of that Japanese prop? (I think he was a prop), that would've been an awesome try if that wasn't ruled forward.
GG Japan, frankly no one expected you to win, but you did put up a fight to the end. And according to RWC website, with this game, a try has been scored by every position from 1-15 so far.

The best tries in rugby are scored by hookers waiting out on the wing. There's something quite funny watching a stumpy nugget of a man waiting out there.
p.s Guildford can GTFO. He won't be back in the team for the rest of the RWC |
