Some are not that hard - scissors or a sharp knife will make short work of opening them. But some are ridiculously difficult to open with any type of cutting device and the plastic itself is dangerously sharp - you have to be careful not to cut yourself on the cut plastic.

Amazon have used the easy opening packaging as a positive point for many of their products. http://arstechnica.com/old/content/2...initiative.ars

I think you'd have to be a complete an utter n00b if you couldn't open that packaging with scissors or a craft knife. And if you cut your hands on the plastic, well you're a pussy. I think the cause of the problem is nerds trying to open packaging with their weak girly n00b hands.

I fucking wish I had a bloody mouse though. There's something really fucking frustrating about trying to line up a sniper sight with a bloody joystick.

Oils my gears, I've actually got sniping down to a fine art now after 12 months of BFBC instead of *point click* kill.

So what's the news on this game - better?

If you get a chance try the recently released v1. For ages it was at 0.xx something. The new version is 1.5 Mb of PDF reader goodness.

I can't believe critics hated it. It follows the exact same formula as Pulp Fiction, but with more tension.

I loved it. Christoph Waltz (Landa) was a highlight for me. The guy is brilliant. I've never seen him before, probably because he's a TV actor, but I'll definitely be looking out for him in future

Bastards = cool
Other plot with chick = shit

Balances out at 5/10 as a result. A shame really, as it could have been a solid 8/10 if he went all spoof with the Bastards and cut out the melodramatic shite with the chick.

Critics hated it? It's scoring a pretty impressive 88% at Rotten Tomatoes..

I was thinking the thing that Inglorious Basturds lacked was the 'stand out scenes' that his previous movies had; discussing a footrub, fight at the house of leaves, beating the cop up. But now with some time behind it, some things do stand out. For instance, I'm always going to want a big dollop of creme on any dessert pastry, and it's going to make me feel slightly uneasy eating it.
