Yeesh. In all fairness, the article suggests it wasn't his fault, eg no booze fuelled antics, didn't (apparently) get angry and violent.

India needing 13 from 5 with 1 wicket in hand
dot dot wide 4 6 2 from 1 TIE credit to the BCs, i was certainly writing them off from the get go but this series has produced some amazing games, this one especially. Nice series win! Some pretty good batting from the BC's.

Pretty noobtastic move from Neesham at the death in the Indian innings; though it kept Dhoni off strike for at least one ball so maybe it resulted in one less 6?
gg to the black caps though, dat dere batting consistency~ |

Didnt get to watch this one - just checked the scores on cricinfo.... gg black caps. Even when the indians are woefully understrength, it's a damn good effort to 4-0 them in a one day series.

So many douches not in orange shirts snaking a chance at the 100k. Gutted for that young dude, he almost had it nailed.
Great series. Hopefully they carry it through to the tests. |

Should he:
a) get the 300 then declare to have a chance of winning the game? b) see how high he can go, draw the game and win the series? or c) something else?

They'll probably bat for the first hour, giving BMac an opportunity to get a triple and pile on some demoralising runs, then put India in and have a giant crack at them with our seamers, who will be fizzing after seeing NZs first triple (and be well rested after so much amazing batting).
fingers crossed anyway! Last edited by pxpx : 18th February 2014 at 08:44. |

We owe India nothing - Baz needs to push on for half of the first session to get him over 300 and Jimmy over 100, declare to rub it in an then proceed ot annoy the Indian's with our fresh bowling attack.
Yesterday at lunch I would have taken a loss. Today, the draw will do nicely, thank you very much. |

Not that it matters now, but if a team appeal for an LBW and the umpire says no, and then they run out the other player.
Could NZ have reviewed the LBW to have that person get out rather than the one that was run out. |

If the run was completed successfully, it would have been a run - I'm pretty sure the ball is live until the umpire makes his ruling.
