1883 was amazing...just finished it. Gritty, great casting, fucking grim portrayal of the Wild West.
Life on the frontier was not a walk in the park....even crossing a river was bad news. |

HEY HEY
Babu Frik, the only good thing about The Rise of Skywalker. But yes, lots of good content coming out of D23 today. Tales of The Jedi Andor Willow Marvel's Secret Invasion Mando Season 3

The Boys season 3 plot description looks kinda shark-jumpy... but will probably watch anyway as sheer bonkers ultraviolence is part of the show (and even more so in the comic)

Oh mang, I wanted to be the cool one to mention it.
I don't usually go for drama, but I like the kitchen/burger place/spacies angle.

Rick and Morty S06E03 is decent.
I like how they've set up the show so they can pretty much approach anything.

Andor s01e01-s01e03
As a bit of character background to Rogue One, it could finish after the first 3 eps.
There could be a line ruled there, but there won't. Somehow they will manage to kooze it up. |

Wasn't going to watch Andor as Kenobi / Boba Fett was so disappointing... but it has been a great first three episodes so far. Side by side to Mandalorian S1 imo (so far).

It's great so far. I really like how they're building up the case for rebellion.
The casting is fantastic.

Feeling a bit crook so I'm re-watching The Mandalorian in the downtime.
I like how Greef Karga is all bro with Mando after the big score, but as soon as he breaks the code, he's gots to go. I like to think Mando intentionally aimed at the beskar in Greef's pocket.

Never watched it before but I just finished 15 seasons of CSI. Compared to the production values and drama of the new last of us trailer it’s pretty low stakes but still a slick well crafted operation. Don’t jump the shark either.

I recently finished the 3 seasons of "For All Mankind" and although it's a bit slow I did enjoy it.

I loved the full subtle nod to the whole ANH being a Kurosawa remake, with the gallery having many samurai like artefacts, and then Mon Mothma's husband basically dressed as a daimyo. Clearly that wasn't Jango's armour on display, but the Vader like artefacts were awesome. And the British accents are still soooo good. Speeders land like speeders should, and speeder-bikes hover without a bluescreen mask. Fired corporate lacky goes home - "I bet his mum answers the door!" - Yep. How long can the goodness last? The show is doing a great job showcasing why Andor holds his rank of captain in the Alliance Military.

Epic episode last night. The tension, the pacing, the characters & acting, the scenery, the CG, can't fault it.

I love how it's The Empire's fascism that's leading to its downfall. Like when the heist team show up in their uniforms, that brief cut where some of the other soldiers look at them with suspicion. But everything moves forward, no one is going to risk sticking their neck out. The show is going to be over too soon.

Well that She Hulk final was definitely something different.

Although slow, I'm really enjoying HotD, the time jumps are a bit annoying but still I find it much more enjoyable than RoP. Also, it has Dragons so it's always going to have the upper hand from my POV :P That last episode 9 of HoD felt much more like a top GoT episode and was bloody awesome IMO. |

Yeah, I'm loving House of the Dragon. Just wish I could have enjoyed Rings as well. I'll probably skip Rings s2 unless people say it's much improved. Just didn't really enjoy it other than ep6 except that stupid SOUTHLANDS / MORDOR text..
Andor still #1 for me though. Best live action SW content since the OG trilogy imo. Quote:

I like seeing how the Empire has an effective path for side-lining those who value genuine authority, legitimacy. Syril's first day at the "Standards Bureau" is editing his record in the name of cronyism.
I figure Syril is joining the Rebellion and at some point encounters Andor when they're on the same side.

While I suspect they would have been more surprised if the sexist shitholes didn't come out in force, this was tweaked too nicely to some of the recurring themes from their bollocks.
