all the stress in my life comes from women, all of it. that grinds my gears. having to look after my sick girlfriend who is sick once again because of her crappy diet which is entirely her own fault. my sister and her wedding and everything that comes along with that, if something goes wrong i have to deal with it. even my dog, who is old and dying, is a female. one of the least stressful places in my life, where i never have to listen tobitching and whining, is at work where we have an (almost) all male staff.
so basically, hos be whining is what grinds my gears |

GMG? - Non linear cross series replay. Why are they showing Season 1 of Torchwood on 2 just after series 4 of Dr Who started on Prime? If the great unwashed need to see these, I admit they can stand alone, but it makes much more sense in order. At the rate they are going, they'll show the final of Dr Who well before the end of Torchwood, and it will make no sense that there are only 3 Torchwood members left to go the Daleks - or that Jack knows, and has worked with Martha.

I think I would prefer a phone interview rather than flying to Syndey for 1 hour, and also having to shave my (first) beard
Plus, getting to and from the Auckland airport is expensive. Last edited by Asriel : 9th July 2008 at 18:49. |

The word "conversate". Especially when used by apparently professional broadcasters.
It's "converse" wigger. |

Haha, that's a good one, I hadn't heard it before. It's as bad as 'dove' as past tense for dive and 'drug' instead of dragged.

WGMG tonight is that I've still got to wait until 11:30 before I can do my implementation, and then need to wait until whenever the testers finish testing to remove their crap data and set things up so that it starts as-normal tomorrow morning. And I'm then expected to be at work at normal time.
Well at least it's dinner & drinks on work's tab tomorrow night!

Paul Henry's stand-ins on Breakfast. Of the four so far (Mark Sainsbury, Simon Dallow, Greg something, Martin Devlin), only Sainsbury has been tolerable. Dallow is as boring as a piece of brown cardboard, Greg was meh, and Devlin is a dick. Wonder who's going to be on next week....

As long as Alison isn't brought back to replace Pippa
God I hate that woman. She's so hard to look at and her interviewing style is just plain awful. She likes to be mean to people she talk to. I think she thinks it makes her a better journalist for asking the 'hard' questions.

not really a GMG, but the rock last night that did a reverse wind up your wife (ie. wind up your husband) was pretty harsh... telling the aussie dude living here that his $1000 tax debt in aus has caught up with him, hes being deported, going to jail, not going to be able to complete his apprenticeship, never return to nz, and basicly fucked his entire life up. he was literally crying, thinking his whole life was over. yea, quality radio there.
and no, im dont see anything wrong with the idea behind the segment, but they have lately been pushing it too far.

FFS - psychics are fictional characters like on the show "Medium" that I enjoy. Wasting police resources on this shit instead of science and logic and solid police work grinds my gears. |
