This Sol cycle was my first Sol cosplayin Hansgroober. As tribal council chief, my Da was loved, that is, til his passin. Nanotoxi shock from the rad-away juice, they called it.
This year, I wanted to make it really spesh for the chilts. They needed the spesh.

"Do yous chilts cogg the yarn of the Hansgroober!"

"Aye! Tell it 'gen!" "Tis Supa Spesh!" the chilts all called to me.

"Well, Wormy Jomy Clain needed a possie to take off his kicks, you see." I started, gazing around into the chilts starry eyes as they looked back at me.

"He was there to see his Ol'Sweets ya? And the Partyfolk were joyin their tipsy-juices in their megatall, and keeperin their caps all to themselves."
"Well." I said, pausin to keep the chilts excited. "Who else came to join the Partyfolk and rescue them caps!"

"Hansgroober!" The chilts all yelled, their 'rents looking in with smiley grins, some sitting down enjoyin the moments with their chilts, some idle, leanin too casual on the pylons.

"Exacto!" I say, raising my stein with some tipsy-juices of my own.

"One of the Partyfolk, SillyBillyHarry didn't want none of that sharin of them caps, so Hansgroober told him to go nitenite!"

"And Jomy Clain did his wormy thing and wormy'd his way passed the Partyfolk and took Hansgroobers bag of trix!"

"Boo!" came from one of the younger chilts in a raspy voice, with a watery eye and a giggles from his Da and Ma.

"And that Jomy Clain used his bag of tricks to go all stary night half way up the partyfolks' megatall!"

"Hansgroober was grumpybum. All Hansgroober wanted was the caps! So Hansgroober cosplayed a partyfolk, and tricksied Jomy Clain to givin him one of the bags of tricks!"

"Hansgroober real real wanted the caps, but the caps were stuck behind a door stuck shut with sparkies. So Hansgroober wished real real smarts, and well what do you know, but the sparkies turned off, and the door opened!"

"Hansgroober still needed to rescue them caps and give em back to all the Chilts and all the Da 'rents and Ma 'rents that real real needed em, "

"Now to get out, Hansgroober needed to find that wormy Jomy Clain, and asks his Ol'Sweets real nice to help find him at the tippy tip of the megatall!"

"Ol'Sweets helped Hansgroober find Jomy Clain, and Jomy Cain gave Hansgroober his bag of trix"

"He hidin a nitenite trix!!" one of the older chilts interupted me.

"Shh, silencing down will ya, for the young chilts!" I grumped back till there was no sounds cept the coughs and sniffs.

"Silly Jomy Clain grabbed his one last nitenite trix, and almost made Hansgroober go nitenite!"

"Hansgroober wanted to zoom away with the caps but Ol'Sweets was tryin real real smarts to keep him in the megatall, and Jomy Clain grabbed Ol'Sweets to stop her from zoomin off too, so Hansgroober went zoomin away with all the caps, spreadin em all around the ol valley for all the Da's and Ma's to give to the chilts."

"Theeeee End"

"Yaaay" the chilts cheered as the 'rents all clapped, some blowin noses, some wiping cryin eyes, some just drinkin their tipsy-juices. I reached down beside my seat and grabbed some super spesh sweets for the chilts to take as they came up one at a time.
All the chilts here are gonna go nite nite soon, some might tonight, some next Sol, but they needed the spesh. Hope them yarns give some good luck to the chilts. Them rads don't make it easy in the valley.

10+ years ago, there was software that would convert an image to dots so it could be economically printed at massive scale. Any idea what that was?

I'm looking at printing something over 2m², using A3 sheets, but I don't need full res, just a dot matrix style print will do.

I've been hearing my neighbour up at night - funny hours, when most people are sleeping. I only really noticed because he seemed to be mad all the time... I could hear him angry and yelling. He's Samoan, I just assumed he was aggressive. I couldn't really tell what he was saying - or who he was saying it to - but you could tell something seemed important to him. I figured he was on the pipe, or maybe the stress of holidays and kids around - maybe both.

I was trimming trees outside his garage window when I overheard him more clearly and I finally realised what he's up to - he's a gamer, and he's raiding, talking to his team mates!

Changes my whole preconceived, judgmental [racist] view of him.

Since I've never tried talking to him [he didn't sound very friendly], he doesn't even realise that I owe him an apology.
