NZG Automotive Threadtacular
The photo guys have their thread, the bike dudes have a thread, you can rage against teacups in one thread, you can praise cuddles in another. Talking gibberish thoughts is the game in one thread and there are even two threads for posting various shit. Fuck, Liz Shaw even has her own subforum.
Now we gonna drop the clutch on this bitch and get some carnerd talk goin. (also will hopefully stop threads getting derailed with cartalk which I realize not everyone appreciates) Here's me on Taupo 96 Mazda RX7, White, 96,000kms. RB Bathurst trim. Have installed: HKS Hypermax Coilovers HKS Super Dragger cat-back exhaust Fujita Engineering (FEED) 3" downpipe Stern 17" wheels Here's my little project i'm slowly working on: 1985 Toyota Corolla FX-GT (AE82) 1991 4AGZE Supercharged twincam engine Front mount intercooler Link ECU 4-2-1 Headers Battery mounted in boot I bought the corolla for $1500, non running, with the engine already mounted. Everything was done wrong. The paintjob has runs in it, the wiring..there are no words for the wiring.. fasteners are inconsistant. There is a dent in one guard and theft damage on the drivers B pillar. I plan to make it into a beautiful butterfly. Currently it is at a stage where it will turn over at the key, but the ECU needs to be sent away to have the correct ignition module loaded before it will work with the 4AGZE CAS. This is one of the last things required (along with a tune) before it is running! So yeah, post photos, or news clips, or any interesting car discussion in this thread - I hope it gets a lot of use!

Might need to get a longer tailgate though or you'd lose the exhaust (and possibly most of the rear of the car)

All I see here is a bunch of ordinary cars. Ordinary, in the sense that anyone who wanted one of these could have one.
If there's anything special here, it's the type of person who chooses to have these types of vehicle. Or, is there more to it than this? |

The first car I drove was a 2.0L Escort with extractors -- I loved it ;p |

My latest project, 99.999% complete, S13 Sil80, converted to RB25det, just need to sort out a washer system for the windscreen as i have no room for a bottle (have found washer bag tho so should be all good), then have to fab and fit the undercar skirting and it should be all done
heres under the hood pretty bloody hard to get a decent pic of it in all honesty, probably doesnt help that im spastic with a camera, could give 2 shits tho it looks good IRL and heres my latest acquisition for it, a set of track rims and tyres Chucked it on a dyno last week to make sure it wasn't going to lean out at pukekohe on Sunday, running at .6 bar with stock ecu, stock injectors, stock AFM (RB25DET) it ran 217kw at the wheels with just a little bit of tweaking on the safc i have in there temporarily, pretty damn impressed, ecu will be going in in January then off for final tune Last edited by Stalk3r : 1st January 2009 at 18:48. |

on the verge of buying a bmw 318ti msport (fits the budget and economy requirements, plus low k's). I wanted a 330ci but way out of my price range oh well.. From what I see they have 143hpower. If I want to soup up the engine a bit can $1500-2000 get me anywhere and what should I do? Also, I doubt I can do the work myself so would be keen to know a shop I could go to and buy/install the mods..

Also, I'd rather have a number of other vehicles, but right now I have what I have and I love it. If I didn't it'd be gone and another car would be in its place.
