Mortgage? That's quite surprisingly low. Or is this an interest-earning account you're talking about?

Receiving a $15 parking ticket when it should have been a $12 parking ticket because they started counting the time from which I was over my allocated time from before my pay and display ticket even expired...

...then spending two minutes writing a letter to the parking people briefly explaining, with a photocopy of the pay and display ticket, and my parking ticket...

Expected: Reduction in ticket to $12
Received: "The circumstances outlined in you letter have been considered. On this occasion the ticket has been cancelled."

Justice and common sense prevails

Will have been canceled because the ticket was incorrect, and you didn't have a correct ticket to pay.

But a win is a win

Two weeks ago my girl couldn't walk due to an inflamed hip joint. Today she won two finals in rowing (team effort) and two finals in kayaking (solo) at a Sea Scout Regatta. The resilience in children is amazing.

To get some more accredidation i need to do some drafitng papers.

Get an assignment. Looks like it'd take hours manual drafting.

AutoCAD + lightbox = win. bwhahaha.

20 hrs of drafting converted to an hour.

It oils my gears that I was able to pull apart and fix our ancient lawnmower rather than yield to my lazy impulse to just boy another secondhand one.

And while I had it apart I gave it an oil change. That oiled my gears literally.
