a random maori guy was busking outside the penrose/onehunga takeways and shops area last night, playing blues on his guitar. i gave him $5 and told him to keep playing man, cos it sounds sweet. asked him how long he had been playing - 40 years. damn hes good too. strange place to busk, nontheless.

yeah the vouchers things sucks... but lets face it, for the average person, paying $10~ extra per CD isnt worth it...

I'll miss RG's dvd collection more than their second hand music.

So many dvd's and box sets that I couldn't find anywhere else in town they had. Plus there was also a great find or 3 in the second hand dvd's that you'd only find at full price online (unless you're willing to buy them via trademe, which I'm usually not)

Sine JB opened, I seriously can't remember the last time I went to RG... And you know why? Because I'm too fucking lazy to walk that extra bit up Queen St. Doesn't help the fact their music is too expensive, and as far as obscure shit goes, you can get it online (free/paid). So tough tits I say.

The receivers may, but the stores can't. Anyone with a voucher is a creditor. Go to the receivers.

Another BLUDDY bus fire this morning, causing one lane of the motorway to be closed. I didn't notice which company it belonged to as I drove past because I was too busy looking at the charred part, but Stagecoach previously has had 5 buses goes up in flames. The last one was in 2006, but fuck if I'm going to take public transport when they're going round exploding. If I have no choice but to ride the loser cruiser, there's no damn way I'm going to sit in the back seat with the cool kids. ENJOY YOUR DEATH TRAP, LADIES!
