I don't know if anyone here watches Bones, but if you do and you saw the one where Zack's hands get hurt in the lab...WTF?! Insane episode. I felt a bit stunned after watching it.

^^^Bugger - having Monday off koozed up my viewing - I'll have to DL it from TV3 tonight. Last weeks CGI intensive PRON was awesome. And the new live action Pooman and Wees. That was prosthetic.

House as been a bit surreal when it comes to season finales (House getting shot and hallucinating etc), and they've been trying out a lot of new techniques when shooting scenes, but as long as you can keep track of what's actually happening and don't miss anything, it's fantastic

That being said, i thought it was a bloody good conclusion to the season, a real tear jerker.

Boston Legal also wound up its season a week or two ago, another incredible show

This is the 4th season just finished and its been given a 5th season.
Personally I thought the 4th would have been the last as it has been pretty lackluster with the exception of the last few episodes.

I fucking loved Sports Night. Unlike the West Wing, which had dud seasons 5 and 6, and Studio 60, which went rapidly downhill when it became the Danny and Harry Rom-com, Sports Night was all killer no filler. The show started out good, shifted up a gear to great, and was all-out awesome by the time it got cancelled. Why do great shows get canned? Why???
I'm going to do the West Wing marathon sometime this year... maybe once I've finished my studies. Fucking looking forward to it Will be good timing with the election too, especially if Obama wins.

Weeds is back on the 16th thank god. Mad Men late July also. Furry Crew - Top Gear soon...mad.

Out of sheer desperation I stumbled upon a show from Morgan Spurlock (of Super Size Me fame), 30 Days. Each episode someone has to spend 30 days living somewhere totally out of their comfort zone. In the first ep he spends a month in Ohio working for minimum wage. It's about as close as you'll get to watchable reality T.V. (can't believe I actually typed that). O.K. - it's not brilliant but these are desperate times.

anybody caught a show called The Big Bang Theory. (it's a sitcom not doco)

scored the first season and it's pretty funny. typical sitcom from the producer of 2 and a half men.

thoretical Physicists have a hot chick move in next door. comedy ensues.

2 and a half men is pretty good man. I'm surprised at some of the innuendo they are allowed to put in there, some of it is pretty wrong lol.

Man I'm thoroughly enjoying watching Damages from the start (1 is airing re-runs at 11pm on Tuesdays). Apparently 2 more seasons of 13 eps have been ordered, and filming for season 2 is starting around about now. Will make sure that I start watching it as it airs in the US this time.

Damages is excellent.

Liked it sufficiently I bought the DVD set - worth doing too as TV1 has cut the series a fair bit to make time for adverts. Chunks of it are much clearer from watching DVD release compared to the TV.

Been watching The Invisibles - a Brit comedy-drama about a couple of ex-safecrackers that find themselves always having to do "just one more job" - takes a while to get to know the characters, but worth teh effort IMO.
