Did you see the candidates for Mayor this election just gone? I voted for the guy who spends his mornings waving signs at cars on Tamaki Dr.

If Brown allows himself to get strung up over unpaid phone bills and accommodation perks, he probably shouldn't be mayor.

yeah if he didnt lose his job when it came out he was porking some woman other than his wife he aint gonna lose it cos he made a few phonecalls and didnt have to pay for a hotel room a few times.

The council may have been able to play hardball and get him to leave, but it doesn't seem like there's anyone viable to take his place.

He can't be sacked, he won't quit, and like you said there doesn't seem to be anyone to replace him even if he did.

Actually, aside from unmown berms, I'm not sure Brown was fucking anything up while fucking up his girl. I have to confess though, I don't really know what a Mayor gets up to. Ole Hubbard was a lame duck, but the rules have changed now with the whole supercity business.

Hide seems to have set up the whole Supercity framework with the assumption that the Mayor will be some master-of-the-universe corporate CEO. There seems to have been no provision for the possibility that the mayor might be a pathetic sleazebag with a company credit card. There's no way to get rid of him.

Now I'm interested in who leaked false info to the Herald the moment Brewer criticised Brown for receiving undeclared gifts.
