Len Brown - will he resign?
http://www.kiwiblog.co.nz/2013/12/br...st_resign.html
I'm guessing... no. Betcha he hangs on to that seat at the trough for dear life. |

Did you see the candidates for Mayor this election just gone? I voted for the guy who spends his mornings waving signs at cars on Tamaki Dr.
If Brown allows himself to get strung up over unpaid phone bills and accommodation perks, he probably shouldn't be mayor.

Two mayoralties, two apologies? Cakewalk. He'd have to take money from the Arts or something for his pass to be over.

Brown censured, no confidence motion fails.
The council may have been able to play hardball and get him to leave, but it doesn't seem like there's anyone viable to take his place.

He can't be sacked, he won't quit, and like you said there doesn't seem to be anyone to replace him even if he did.

Let Wayne Young run the place I reckon.
Actually, aside from unmown berms, I'm not sure Brown was fucking anything up while fucking up his girl. I have to confess though, I don't really know what a Mayor gets up to. Ole Hubbard was a lame duck, but the rules have changed now with the whole supercity business.

Not properly declared after all...
But only cause he was too busy, a problem he wouldn't have as mayor.

Doesn't matter; the details were recorded in the gift registry and included among the data provided to Ernst and Young for the enquiry. Brewer's nose is clean on this one.
Now I'm interested in who leaked false info to the Herald the moment Brewer criticised Brown for receiving undeclared gifts. |

Clean, but lazy. If that's how one wanted to spin it. Which is all this is.
