Any of you fellas unloaded your weapons?
I'm doing my bit for the New World Order's secret population management protocol and am getting neutered tomorrow, wondering if any of you lot have had the op, what to expect in terms of recovery...?

Hmm - seems Orcon didn't keep my pictures online.
Mine used some surgical scissors (ie no knife) to make the small nick, a crochet type hook thing to whip out the vas, and scissors again to snip. Ended up with no stiches and tape over the wound. Wife said I didn't need to shave. Second thing the nurse said when she walked in ' "Why didn't you shave?". First thing was a comment on it being cold in there. Bunch of comedians. He did have pictures of roosters around his surgery - I guess that was a tasteful way of getting cocks on the wall. Got it done on a Friday afternoon, lay on the couch all weekend with frozen peas and the Sky Sport remote. Had bruising and the cowboy walk for about a week. Quack mentioned that some people (a surprisingly high percentage) get a persistent numb pain for life afterwards. I called BS, but since have had the odd occasion where sitting can lead to lower abdominal pain - my GP suggested it was vasectomy related. Good grief - that was almost 20 years ago... Oh - and a few weeks later, wank wank wank, got a letter saying I was sterile. Last edited by StN : 8th February 2024 at 14:30. |

I've been putting it off for years.

Yep been there done that over an Easter weekend. Did it on the Friday, had a bit of a sore weekend, and was back to work on the Tuesday. Bit of pain, but nothing some over the counter anti inflammatory couldn't take care of. No complications, pretty easy all round.

Yeah I’m surprised at how little it feels like someone’s been messing around inside my scrotum with a knife. I’ve felt more discomfort than this the day after a long bike ride.

Four days later, still a bit swollen and bruised feeling. Again, kinda like the day after a long ride. Icepack in the evening is bliss.
It is a bit weird thinking "if everything went right, I am becoming sterile as we speak". My genes and all my racial-memory ancestors are screaming at me. |

i did it, then 4 years later my wife got pregnant. I didnt think there was anything dodgy going on as such (it was during covid lockdowns), but i got my sperm count tested to see wtf might be going on anyway, turns it out it only half worked (very low sperm count even though i "passed" the test i had shortly after the procedure) and may have been slowly reversing itself. Just something to be wary of

Yea, don't neglect the post-procedure sperm count tests. You want to make sure it's zero.

^^^ Isn't there a pretty fundamental error in Fig1?
