I'm so naughty when it comes to upgrading my PC. I was going for the bare essentials, it came to just under $700, I was happy. I then ended up having another browse and deciding "oh, i'll just get a slightly better this, slightly better that.." the budget just ballooned to $1200.

Ah well, I'll wait till xmas then I can justify it more. My present to myself.

I saw the funniest thing on the bus today, this asian dude in his 60's was sitting there with a "Thug Life" cap on. HAHAHA! I reckon he has no idea~

but if you ment 'boat, Fucker', then yes, well, no, Kinda.

I had to remove all the ribs, fabricate and weld in new ribs, made a new foredeck for it, just finish laminating the deck, 12mm marine ply sandwiched with epoxy (mmmm sandwiching effect for composites, delicious engineering) and got the motor running sweet, now all i need to do is make up a window frame get some glass for it (will probably go for perspex though) and she will be away, well, then it'll need a paint, but it goes in the water sweet.

Best thing about re-doing it myself, its god damn light no extra crap and goes like the clappers. its a 15' 2" aluminium fyran styled hull, hence why i baught a hilux, so i could tow it >_<

Halves with the hairy one, though.

Cause the hull was painted before, and now with the new welding marks showing through, it looks like shit.

its just that most old aluminium boats i've been on are unpainted
and they look a bit ghey when painted.

to paint them you need to use an aluminium oxide primer first...
i suppose you'll probably have to sand the old paint out first as well

seems like a lot of hassle
