I would laugh, but the recent slow-mo footage I saw of Gregan mouthing "4 more years boys" is haunting me...

Edit: Only watch that video if you don't mind not sleeping for all of October and most of November.

The current All Blacks strip has those too, they are just hidden.

Depending on the player the grip is in different places.

Ie - props have heaps of it on their sleeve.

I bumped into Gregan in an airport over the summer, when he had (wisely) declined to go on the Wallabies NH tour and was doing his own "reconditioning" programme. Went up, introduced myself, shook his hand, had a quick chat about rugby. Seemed like a nice guy.

I will be sad to see him retire. He's been the face of Australian rugby for so long and has been the Aussie we love to hate to love in so many memorable Bledisloe, Super, and World Cup matchups, from That Tackle to "Four more years boys". I rate him.

I've always been amused by other national teams wearing jersey's with stylised Kiwi's emblazoned across them. Do they just not see it?

For some reason, I have always hated the world cup logo. It looks too big and bulky and sticks out like a sore thumb.
