Brash wants leadership back.

Quote:
Brash attacks Maori - again

Former National leader Don Brash attacked Maori in a provocative speech to party faithful at Orewa last night - returning to the issues that propelled him to the leadership six years ago.

Titled Return to Orewa, Brash said Maori have no special rights and there was no grounds for a separate Maori political party.

Brash should stick to not being good at finance.

'Race based' doesn't necessitate 'racism'.

True, but it is race-favouritism ('reverse racism'?) if no other racial group is allowed similar representation.

Does anyone actually care what a failed politician has to say?

He's twice a loser.

Are there other racial groups with an indigenous claim to inherent political rights to representation who aren't being proportionately represented in their own country?

How are efforts for proportional representation here (so called favoritism) unjustified when obviously there has never been an even playing field concerning our democratic process?

Again, 'race based' or 'race-favouritism' here is not racism. Maori are only getting what New Zealands euro-centric group have always had.
