I think the only thing flash would be good for is the TV ondemand stuff. The sites are still stuck in the past and haven't gone html5. Then I realise there's fk all on TV that I want to watch and the thought passes.

Is it not possible to replace yahoo as a weather provider on ios? Yahoo's is fn useless. Always found googles weather offering to be much more accurate.

As far as weather apps go, Haze is pretty sweet. I like that it has wind direction linked to the compass.

The TVNZ ondemand app came out last week. Works great on my ipad

I remember reading that same article a couple of months ago, and it had me curious about the Nexus 4. I assume the main reasons he raves about the Nexus is that it came out of the box with Jellybean on it, which is a pretty awesome mobile OS, and it doesn't come with vendor crap installed all over it.

For me personally the handset doesn't have enough storage (doesn't have an SD card slot), and the way I am used to using my phone, having buttons on opposite sides of the phone doesn't work, as I almost always end up pressing one when I'm trying to get its opposite on the other side of the handset (same problem I had with the SGS3). This results in whatever command that combination of buttons is configured to do, not my intended command.

The Nexus looks like a MINT cheap handset with the newest available Android OS, and I'd love to play with one ... but its money I don't really want to throw into a(nother) phone after having spent farm too much in the last 6 months just to try out Android (ICS) and Windows 8 mobile OS's (a fool and his money etc).

I still want to try out JB though ...

I nearly posted the link but didn't out of consideration of p0is0n's condition.

Same idea - objective look at why an iPhone user since day 0 made the jump (this one compares to ICS AFAIK)

S3 supports most formats but every now and then ... actually something for PS3 playback conversion would be good, i'm sure my phone has more grunt than my PC at the mo :/
