HENCE WHY FOREVER ALONE

Nooooo
Thats all the world needs, another guy to go to uni because he's too lazy to teach himself, and will therefore be too lazy to learn properly, and too lazy to keep learning once he's left, coz he's BEEN TO UNI MANNNN.
Flip burgers, you'll help keep this world bug-free. |

Helpdesk skills Low level Web skills Standard networking skills Generally act as a consultant for a range of clients General IT Facilitator for when I don't know how to do it. (I know people and wouldn't hesitate to make use of the skills listed above by others And I am the nemesis of the developer: An experienced and very thorough QA Analyst/Tester [with experience using Rational Robot (scripting)] - mostly financial systems though some call centre and customer tracking software. |

For work:
Java - J2SE, J2EE (EJB, JSP, JSTL, Struts, JSF) Websphere - WSAD, MQ, WAS, Portal, MQSI/WMQI/WBIMB, Modeller, Connect DB2, Oracle, SQLServer Service Oriented Architecture Webservices For Play: PHP, MySQL, Photoshop, Flash MX, Dreamweaver I agree with the point earlier. Relying on Uni as your source of learning for IT isn't the best move. If IT is your hobby you'll kick ass once given the chance in the 'real world'. And for many types of IT that are becoming more a utility (eg. networking) an apprenticeship would be more appropriate (imho). Last edited by kiwi_damo : 9th June 2004 at 15:01. |
