Have to admit, I didn't expect to enjoy "Dead to Me" as much as I have.
There is some serious acting chops on Christina Applegate in this.

I found the first season great. The second average and the third a bit hard to watch. Still have a few episodes to go, so will see how it wraps up.

I'm enjoying Hit Monkey. I thought it would be too absurd, but really all of Marvel is pretty absurd.

Quite enjoying Tulsa King, and 1923 (so far) has been good

Rewatching Andor with the boy. The first scene where his foster mum is introduced and she’s telling B2EMO to keep it to himself is so foreshadowing. Pretty sure she’d just recorded the FTE video.

Good episode. I haven't played the game, altho I know the general outline. Maybe I was imagining it, but some of the scenes and dialogue feel very "computer gamey". Like the scene leading up the plane crashing into the town. Good fun in any case.

Thanks....really enjoyed S1 of Mayor of Kingstown.

Might be a problem with Season 3 having to work in Jeremy if he loses a leg..

I've heard there's an optimum sequence to watch the episodes?

/googled...

Aha:

Quote:
If you decide to watch Kaleidoscope chronologically, the episode order goes like this, starting with a young Vernon 24 years before the heist:

Violet (24 years before the heist).
Green (7 years before).
Yellow (6 weeks before).
Orange (3 weeks before).
Blue (5 days before).
White (the heist).
Red (the morning after).
Pink (6 months after).
If you decide to go this route, however, know that any big finale twists will hit in the White episode.

Are there alternative ways to watch?
If everyone has been doing the math correctly, seven episodes, with no repeats, that can be watched in any order should yield more than 5,000 options (there are even more options if you don't watch White last). How many of those watch orders you want to try is between you and your calendar.

Netflix tweeted some order suggestions, if you're interested in watching Kaleidoscope as a Quentin Tarantino film -- ostensibly a reference to nonlinear Tarantino films like Pulp Fiction -- (Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Violet, Pink, White, Red) or like a classic detective story (Orange, Green, Violet, Red, Yellow, Blue, White, Pink).

I'm only half way through my lot. I'm annoyed that due to the format there's obviously no character development beyond the single episodes, but I'm just seeing them as a bunch of short stories.

Watched this last week. Really enjoyed it. Reminded me of Alias, except it's well written.

Also: Did not see either of the final twists coming. Awesome cliffhanger

...which I think may be random from Netflix - ie the default order in the menu may be different between users?

Black's basically just a trailer and an intro to the concept, and White is the finale, so everything in between are the stories leading up to it.

Between those, I've got Green Yellow Blue Orange Violet Red Pink.

Hmm (yeah, black being the preview...) Sounds like you *can* choose any order but the claim that NF assigns them randomly is bung.

I didn't know much about the story, but I was aware the story followed the man and the girl, so I figured it wasn't looking good for Torv's character. She played her role so well.

I'm looking forward to this, Season 1 ended on such a good cliffhanger.
This is the coolest show on TV.

But I'm not sure how much that tracks if you haven't watched all the previous series. The whole show is pure payoff, it doesn't explain anything about the characters, the tech, the geopolitics and everything else. It assumes the audience knows all that and just gets into the action.

We've watched and enjoyed all the seasons. It probably helps if you haven't read the books, a friend has but he couldn't get into the TV show as he had mental images of the characters etc etc...

I'd recommend it though, found it a good watch.

I wonder if it's going to be a kind of emotional buffer for the audience. Perhaps we'll see them in flashbacks, knowing that whatever dire situation they're in, we know they survive get to live a full life.

Or at least someone had a happy-ish ending, as things get real dark for everyone else. Which I figure is the direction of the show based on what I know of the game.

Seeing Bella Ramsey in Game of Thrones, I wondered how she'd find a role where she could top that performance.

I know the answer now!
