Next dose of crazy: Trump’s Appointment of the Acting Attorney General Is Unconstitutional

I guess you can just add it to the list.

The letter was undated too. Chances are Trump's got a binder full of those letters as some sort of loyalty trust circle, to pull out whenever he feels like it.

That's just gambling with extra steps.

This weekend on Trump.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...mistice-parade
Quote:
After a few hours in a Paris hotel, the White House called off Trump’s attendance at the first memorial event of the weekend, at Belleau, where 2,000 US marines were killed. The ostensible reason for the sudden cancellation: rain.
..
The whole weekend was supposed to be a show of western solidarity, and ended up proving its absence. Trump showed himself ill at ease with most of his European counterparts and the fleeting encounter with Putin was a reminder of his much greater affinity for autocrats.

I wonder if the wall is an excuse for the shut down. Like there's some other reason a shut down would suit Trump, so he's cooked up this demand for funding as justification.

Touché - I bet they build an interactive multi touch display screen for them. It would cost less than $5B and still be a wall.

NextDraft couldn’t stick to just the headline:

Quote:
DICKPIC, LIGHTNING

In a Dickensian saga perfectly reflective of our times, AMI, the David Pecker-headed parent company of The National Enquirer, attempted to extort Jeff Bezos with a below the belt threat to expose his prime member. But Pecker picked the wrong dick to shaft. With a net-worth north of $135 billion, the potential victim was particularly well-endowed to fight with sticks or stones. Some people have F U money. Bezos has Jeff U money. So the fluffer called the bluffer and prematurely revealed the whole story at length (not that size matters): No thank you, Mr. Pecker. And now the plot thickens (and hardens) because if AMI acted unlawfully, it could de-rail their immunity deal with federal prosecutors. They thought they had Jeff's dick in a box, but this is guy who knows how to return a package. Bezos' full frontal assault ties the story back to Trump, the Saudis, and the Mueller investigation. So if this scandal lasts for more than four hours, call your broadband company. You're gonna need more bandwidth. (I know it seems like I got a little too hung up on the wordplay, but to paraphrase Nicki Minaj, my anaconda don't want none unless you got puns son.)

So how long have these Trump/Kim talks been in place? Seems like a... trump card to pull just when this Michael Cohen testimony is about to go down?

Republicans doing a very good job of showing that Cohen was a deeply unethical lawyer for many years. They're not doing a good job of actually countering any of his documented claims about Trump.

They're also raising obvious questions - if Cohen was as deeply unethical as they're showing, why did Trump keep him on for so many years?
