And man thats developed into a cool show.

I love it now, so glad its gone to a second season.
stumbled across this (cause I heard it had missy peregrym in it) and it's awesome. only watched a few episodes but looking forward to the rest.

only problem is, sometimes getting into tv series gives me cold sweats because of the fact they're so susceptible to getting canned (firefly, carnivale, arrested development)

I am more shocked you are still watching Psych, to be honest.

The premise made me cringe, but then I watched an episode and loved it. There's far worse on tv (especially on Prime!)

Yeah, I was the same. I don't make a huge effort to see it, but if it's on I'll watch and enjoy it.

That Murder Club thing starts on TV on Monday. Has anyone seen it yet? I'm quite intrigued, because the books sell well, though I've never read any of them.

I can't wait for the second season of Metalocalypse to finish so they release the next album. There have been some sweet songs in the series so far.

I grabbed it for my folks, it's pretty lightweight compared to some shows. Only managed half of the first episode

J.D., Elliot and Co. have a new friend! Sources confirm to me exclusively that Courteney Cox is joining the cast of Scrubs for a three-episode arc as Sacred Heart's new Chief of Medicine.

Remember back in May, when exec producer Bill Lawrence revealed to me that he was looking to stunt cast the role of Dr. Kelso's successor? Yeah, I know — I'd say he kept his word, too.

Cox's boss lady character will "ruffle feathers," teases a Scrubs insider.

For my money, the gig is a very smart move on Cox's part. Coming off of the unfortunate Dirt, she needed a role that showcased her at her best — in other words, making people laugh. And what better show to be her first comedy since Friends ended four years ago than, um, only my favorite comedy on TV? I love it. But the real question is, do you love it?

Source
I'm looking forward to it

Yeah finished season 2 a while ago. I mean, it is a teen drama. And I only feel like watching it with the missus. But I really enjoyed it.

Has anyone seen Point Pleasant? It was canned early on, but I just saw the first episode on The Box, and it's rather intriguing. Apparently they cancelled at episode eight, but made 13, which is highly appropriate.

^^ Grabbed it btw. (an Oz DVB rip) Not a bad doco detailing the Wehrmacht's leadership in regards to re-building the army and following Hitler's orders and committing war crimes.

Not subbed to Sky atm so can't whore the History channel as much as I'd like to. But it's different (from what I've previously seen) in that it has recreated scenes of German officer recordings from Trent Park, and comments from old soldiers and actions they knew of, in relation to that.

Two new shows definitely worth a watch.

Flashpoint - based around a SWAT team, think SWAT the movie with a little better character progression, character acting and more "snapshots" of the technology utilised.

Two episodes in on the first season

Generation Kill - based on a book written by a Rolling Stones writer who spent two months with a marine group in Iraq, the book itself caused internal discipline on marines due to their criticisms of superior officers, has a very anarchistic feel to it.

Large up Generation Kill.

HBO and the creators of The Wire, how could it miss? A must in 720p too.

If they progress that Sam Braddock character in Flashpoint into something less over-the-top and clichéd "edgy" new guy, it could turn into a good series. Had to laugh at his Ep1 entry.

Hmm, Canadian series on CBS/CTV, I'm sceptical but might give it a watch.

Hard to see how a Canadian/CBS series can ramp with the likes of HBO and David Simon still.

8 aired in the USA, but they made 13 which must have aired somewhere because I have downloaded and watched all 13 about 2 and a half years ago.
