Does sugar content in stuff like OJ/Smoothies negate the hydration they give?

This http://www.ird.govt.nz/resources/4/c...stribution.xls is interesting in the sense it shows better resolution than income distributions I've seen before.

This is a sad picture of NZ though - so many low incomes among the bands that presumably represent people trying to do well for themselves.

8% of the total tax take is paid by my band of .4% of the population - eight fucking percent.

pretty interesting article
Bolivia's 'fatal lottery' story shown in long lost film

long lost film of an execution in Bolivia that talks about a death of a political party leader who died of a heart attack, and three people were wrongly convicted of his murder. then they drew a lottery to decide which one would be executed

The story leading up to the President's death is a Tui Advert in the making

Quote:
They had killed Pando, founder of Bolivia's Republican party, as part of a Liberal Party plot, it was alleged.

But the version of events as told by Jauregui's uncle Nestor Villegas, who was also convicted of Pando's murder, was more a combination of bad luck and bad judgement.

According to Villegas, Pando had dropped by their house unexpectedly on his way to La Paz. They were sharing a couple of bottles of wine he had given them when suddenly Pando had a stroke and died.

Panicking and fearing they would be accused of his death, they wrapped him in a blanket and threw his body over a cliff.

The corpse was found and a post-mortem examination indicated that Pando had died of natural causes, said Mr Gumucio.

But these findings were never revealed and a second examination, apparently ordered by the leader of the Republican opposition Bautista Saavedra, concluded Pando had died as a result of injuries inflicted by the men.
Something sad about that guy smiling before hes wrongly executed.

You think that the .4% of the top earners in the country should pay 16% of the tax?
I think if that were the case then the only people that would benefit would be accountants and tax lawyers.

http://newscenter.berkeley.edu/2012/...en-compressed/

"It should be noted that the researchers are not proposing the development of compression bras as a treatment for breast cancer. “Compression, in and of itself, is not likely to be a therapy,” said Fletcher. “But this does give us new clues to track down the molecules and structures that could eventually be targeted for therapies"

Doesnt mean you can't try though.

The science behind it is cool, the TED Talk through my link above is pretty interesting.

Almost hesitating to ask this, but: Are pohutakawas sexual?

We have two big pohutakawas on our section, one is in full bloom at the moment, the isn't and is just dropping white/green flowery things everywhere. Is it that some are male/female and don't flower in the same way, or do I have a late developer tree?
