Radiator shop found blown head gasket. Have had the car for maybe 18 months. Replacement thermostat was done while still under mechanical warranty.

Quiz night last night.
Tie breaker question was : How many days is a year on Venus? I indicated <1. Lady comes up - "What number do you want here?" StN "Less than 1" Lady "It needs to be a number" StN "Ok, round it up to 1..." Lady "You want 1?" StN "Yeah". Answer provided : 224. Oh, you Terran centric primate, you meant how many Earth days in a Venusian year? FFS. A Venusian sidereal day is retrograde 243 Earth days. That is the slowest rotation of any planet and indeed longer than a Venusian year of 224 Earth days. 224/243 ~ 0.9218 |

This gimp at work that’s so incompetent, I feel like he’s bullying me with his stupidity. Or if I’m not bullying him with all the detail I need to keep sending him?
Me: A printer is down - do you know about it? Here’s a screenshot (showing errored print jobs and a non responding web interface). Log a fault as you’ll have the serial number Gimp:you can get the serial number from the web interface.

I'd love a little collection of "Big Tech are actually all evil assholes" where we find out about them doing something stupidly unethical, but only find out about it because they're now stopping to do it.
Google Will Stop Providing Law Enforcement Data on Which Users Were Near a Crime Uber says it has ended its tracking of users after they complete their rides Facebook will no longer psychological experiment on users by filtering their feed to make people feel more positive or negative

^ wasn't there a story of a courier driver that happened to be in the same location of some crime in Aussie and ended up being accused of it?
I can't find the example atm, aside from one in Florida who was jailed for 6 days. In this case, he'd borrowed the actual murderer's phone to look for work and used it to sign in to his "gmail" account. That just raises more questions.
