If you're worried about germs/dirt entering your mouth... you just picked up the pizza, What was on some kids hands is now on the box, what was on the box is now on your fingers, what was on your fingers is now on your pizza. (Sure the kid maybe wearing gloves, but goto any takeaway joint. At the very least you'll see some teenage girl push her hair back off her face with the gloves, at the very worst you'll see them scratch their armpit or some orifice. nose, ears mouth and of course a good arse scratch happens occasionally too.)

I wash before, I wash after, and I keep a high level of cleanliness throughout.
