Sorting through MC tools is too hard - anyone have a recommendation for an app/tool to change between minecraft.jar versions? I've been manually copying them around and it's a pain in the ass.

Naw just wrote some scripts with different start up variables tbh...

eg

"./go.sh a"
vanilla
"./go.sh b" (or null/default)

I've been trying to fix it for the last week. Can't figure out why it doesn't work. I don't think the server powerful enough to render everything quick enough so it misses chunks.

I'm going to try rendering specific bits tonight and see if that works.

It's only running 2 cores. If it's a CPU issue, I can turn it up but it will need a reboot.

Did you do a full initial render?

After that the dynamic updates aren't that bad once the java is running optimal ... well from my exp anywho :B

It's ok, I found the option to do specific area renders so fixed the problem. Seems to be happy again

Yeah the problem was the full render was missing chunks so it had all these black squares all over the place.

I found as an op you can log in and do a /dynmap radiusrender <radius> and render certain areas. So instead of having to run a full render just do the parts that it's missing.

All good now.
