Ok, so I've put up a test server for those that want to try out the current implementation of Lockette (the chest locking plugin).

(Note you have to put the port in as the default port is the normal Orcon minecraft server).

I could live without any other mod if we can just disable the fucking rain already. So over it, and since 1.8 if you log in while it's raining, it rains inside.

So sorta playing survival mode on 1.8.1 got to the point of creating pictures...but when you slap them on the wall it seems to be just a black square (can vary in size)...if you put it down at the 'bottom' of the wall they show correctly?

Has someone come across this yet?

It doubles with the portal in someone's house nearby, it's quite annoying. We should really sort out a safe zone in the nether like the last server, that was awesome.

Yeah I built one in my house but it crosslinked so I removed it. I've built myself a tunnel to this one but I really wish people would stop overpopulating areas with portals.

I'm starting to think we should push for single, community portals for each "village", maybe even in a railway station type location so that everyone can build a rail to their house from that hub.

Not that I know of. I built it awhile ago just because it seemed like a good place to have one. Then everyone moved away.

Not a render fault, someone built it (looks a bit like Cow's Cone of Ignorance from 1.7) and the bottom is in shade hence looking black.

They will let you teleport to anywhere you throw them, but deal five hearts of damage on every teleport.

So, they're completely useless? The only thing they might be a little handy for is for big jumps down that would normally kill you but will now only half kill you? I do those by riding a bucket of water down anyway.

Assuming you don't throw the fucking thing in the lava by accident?

Empty bucket at the top of the drop, pick up the water source again with the bucket and ride the receding water down.

I don't know what's going on but I lag like hell whenever I'm on since yesterday, and other people have confirmed mobs all over spaz out as soon as I log on. Reboot time?

I got it last night - Rince and Waldo were on. Now I might be really dumb in my interpretation of the green bars being relative connection quality but I noticed Waldo went down to 1 green bar and dropped out and I went to 2 and gave up after a couple of minutes. Rince was still on 4 so I guess he was doing fine...

Just logged on briefly from work. Almost locked my poor laptop up within seconds. Something's wrong with my char. I'm at "home" in the game but it hasn't made a difference. I'll try single player and see if it's as shagged.
