dexter final was amazing ... shocking final scenes, but like with seven all the shit you don't get to see runs through your head ... man ... desturbed shit.

i thought season 3 was a real let down ... but season 4 repeated the amped up heart punding stuff season 2's final episodes did.

they really are not afraid to kill off major charaters ..and even though i kinda saw it comming ..they could just have easily topped any of the cast members ...

wow, love that show.

Heroes... ugh, the whole Sylar/Nathan storyline was shit to begin with and you always knew it would end up like it has, but what's the bet they bring Nathan back, that Peter got his body in the pretense of setting up his death but actually bought him back to life.

How I would like the show to end:

Firstly, cancel it - if we, and the writers, know they have a finite number of episodes it'll be less padding and side stories to fluff out the season, and more getting to the point.

Have Sylar kill everyone in the Carnivalle. This would make him so powerful he'd be like a god. In turn, this would detach him completely from humanity. Maybe have him 'see' his mother again, and some kind of "How could I be so bad as to kill everyone in New York, oh whoops killed me mum now I'm really evil" thing again. Also, before this, Sylar kills Claire. Or Sylar kills Noah, Claire gets really mad, then Sylar kills Claire.

THEN

Have Hiro discover that Charlie was in the Carnivalle all along, and that Sylar killed her. Now he has a singular purpose again, not just fluffy 'right the wrongs of my past' episode of the week stuff.

HOWEVER

Have Hiro also discover (doesn't matter how, deus ex this one) that he has only ONE JUMP LEFT. Otherwise, he could just freezer Sylar and cut his head off. He must have a very specific limitation so we know he can't just jump back in time and the entire show gets wiped or some such.

MEANWHILE

Peter has to rediscover his powers. They need to be what they should have been all along - he can use anyones power, and can 'stack' powers, BUT only if he is in close proximity to the powers owner. This is important, because Peter is meant to be Sylars 'other half' - Sylar can take any power, but he has to destroy people to do it, Peter can take any power, but he has to pull them closer and befriend them to do so.

ALSO MEANWHILE

Either: A) Leave Mohinder dead, and just never mention India again... OR, Momo creates a cure. Again this might need some deus ex machinaing, but hows about poppa Surresh created, or almost created a cure to rewrite the genetic code or bla bla explanation doesn't matter. The important thing is: He has a cure, which can be administered by inhaling it, or drinking or whatever, but on a mass scale.

Ok, pieces are all set up. Here's how you finish.

1) Sylar starts blowing up whole cities of people. Make him super bad ass.

2) Peter wants to stop Sylar, but can't, because Sylar is too powerful.

3) Hiro uses his final jump to take Peter next to Sylar. Perhaps, though this would be a bit hard to swallow, Peter's healing power keeps Hiro alive long enough for one more one last jump.

4) Peter either a) jumps, or b) uses Nathans flying (how poetic!), grabs a hold of Sylar (since he is exactly as powerful as Sylar is now, and FLIES HIM INTO THE SUN!

5) At the same time, and perhaps triggered by Peter, or not, the 'cure' is set in motion. We can have a shot from space of the cure moving across the planet, leaving no Powers in its wake.

End with:
Funeral for Noah and Claire, as attended by Mrs nee Bennet and new BF, and Mrs Patrelli, and Ex Partner lady.
Matt Parkman happy at home with either Janice or Daphne and baby.
Ando and Ms Nakamora entombing Hiro's remains with his mum and dad.
Something something Tracy, water, iono? Seriously, not much you could do here.
Mohinder's narating the epiloge over this, about how the cure removed everyones powers. Something about how the evil of Sylar uniting the world in a common brotherhood, putting aside differences, and ending a constant struggle of Good vs. Evil.
Have that last part over a shot on the sun revealing that Peter and Sylar managed to survive, but are now locked in an eternal struggle, unable to defeat the Suns gravity and burny burny fire, but also unable to die, thanks to Claire.

ALTERNATE ENDING:
Stop after Peter flies Sylar into the sun, have a big explosion, and zoom back into an eclipse of the Earth. THE END. Maybe something to show two dead bodies, so we know for sure they're dead.

The whole cure part could be removed without sacrificing anything, it'd just mean that Sylar will need to kill all the other Powers (Matt, Tracy, Mica etc.). And that would be A-OK.
