Son of a ..... Only got 24 this week. That will drop me down. Stupid Hurricanes & Sharks & Highlanders. But thank god for the chiefs.
But in saying that, looking at the %'s that people picked, most people would get 24 give or take Last edited by blynk : 25th March 2007 at 09:06. |

Will be interesting to see how many scored full points this week considering only 1.4% picked the Lions 13+ and 6.4% for the Brumbies.

F*#k, what a brutal weekend. Next week is now gonna be near impossible to guess given the sporadic nature of these results.
Bloody Hurricanes. I will have to back the bulls next week and then i bet they'll pull it off. |

Only 24 points this week. Enough to have me in 9th place in the work challenge (for the sake of perspective, the top scorer at work has more points than the nzgames top scorer).
But only 14218th place overall |

Hurricanes are soooo ghey. Wonder if the chiefs can hold of the Blues. I've pegged the Blues at 12-. Force beating the Sharks wasn't an upset - but I will cry if a team coached by Mitchell makes the semi's

Yeah, I picked the same way thinking the Chiefs had been losing all season and weren't likely to change their ways... and they go and pick up their game and I only get 5 points out of it.
Still, I'm pretty confident that the Crusaders will take the Tahs for 13+ |

Surely noone guessed Crusaders? I think the rest of the results were plausible to guess/rationale but going into this one how could one go Crusaders 12- (lucky to win when you factor in the botched conversion).
The pressure will be on when the Crusaders host the Force. I am still gonna go Crusaders 13+ though. I think they'd win 12- in Perth but at home it'll push them 13+. On a dark note, McCalister's injured. Slightly anxious how Tuitupo's (spelling?) entry into the backline will affect things. He plays a much different game to McCalister, and maybe the Blues backline might misfire against the cheetahs as a result. |
3rd April 2007, 23:31 | #238 |
|
The Cheetahs are looking stuffed injury-wise so I really wouldn't imagine a change in the Blues backline is really going to make much difference. Could turn out to be one of the most one-sided results of the season IMO.

^ True. Upon consideration and team listings Blues 13+ is a given.
I don't think the TAB are giving the Force enough credit, so i've left that game with the Crusaders head to head. Anyone think the Waratahs can upset the Brumbies with their reformed backline (the one they used in the 2nd half against the Crusaders last week)? I'm picking the Brumbies to grind out a 12- win, but I reckon there could be upset potential there. Lastly, what are people doing for Reds/Sharks and Highlanders/Chiefs? I've gone 12- to both the away teams. Reds could be unpredicatable though, with over 5 of there players finally back from injury (most importantly, Clinton Schifkose). |
6th April 2007, 09:19 | #240 |
|
I'm going Reds -12. They could just be a shambles of course with so many player changes, even if it is their better players back in the lineup. Chiefs -12. I don't think the Waratahs will fire against the Brumbies. Brumbies 13+.
