Those 11 Cunliffe supporters will be expecting shadow-cabinet positions in return for their votes; I'll be interested to see the names, because that's Labour's alternative government.

It gets more popcorn-worthy: IIRC caucus appoints the Leader's deputy, it's not voted on by members or the unions. That means there's a strong likelihood that the caucus will appoint Grant Robertson as deputy again.

I didn't know this would even make the political radar here. If it's a multi-national agreement worth millions of dollars and thousands of jobs, how on earth is discussing it behind closed doors a good idea? For a while there, we were one of the only countries that opposed the US wanting to keep it all secret. I guess they leant a little more heavily and convinced us to shut up.
