Stormlord was from Howick right? Asian guy?
If that's who I'm thinking of, he never cheated and most definately wasn't all ping. |

rofl you should have seen the mirc logs from conversations with him. good times.
he played at work for his low ping and used the old 'forgot this quake install had hacks' and 'haven't used cheats in ages' tricks. had some sort of webhosting that he ran from home too.

I admire quiksilvas egg aiming and ability to take defeat after defeat at both dota and tron with grace (used to it I assume)

oh and no one has mentioned mojo/alpine.
A god among all! Oh, and SHift for his friendly smile after each and every accound domination |

mojo/alpine was the most underrated TF player of all time.
He was godlike at q3ctf too. He held up the WIZ clan pretty much singlehandedly (i remember games where he'd have 100 frags next to his name and next best would be 23). |

I just read back through this thread.
Fuck I was a TF legend... It wasn't just my incrupulous tactical nous [if incrupulous isn't a word, I just made one, good for me]. It was my commitment to the game, my passion. I am the greatest thing to come out of NZTF. I am the TFer I most admire. |

I would say that Kahn would have been the most admired/respected player, in saying this, most people who read this post will know exactly who I am talking about and what he did - hence being justification.

I enjoyed MTF, not many people played it though . Any of yas still play on the US servers? Heard about it a year or so ago, they had a big community still back then.
BTW: Who else couldnt live without there grenade timer scripts? So good for dueling lol

mtf was alright, PUGS was where it was at! i think nztf had another name for pick up games, like red vs blue or someshit.
