Post without context (providing the previous page not read) makes it look like you're GLAD Scummy will never talk to you again. That's HARSH, chiQ.

I saw that coming. Didn't I say? Right?
My new car oils my gears, so I think I shall oil its gears. Imported used car, so I shall have the fluids replaced...aside from the oil. I'm doing that myself. The fact that I can do this now also oils my gears.

Overalls? That sounds like going out and buying new clothes to mess up. I have a tendency to use old clothes when getting grubby. I would like some of those paper cloth coveralls that the police put prisoners they strip into though. Having a set of those in the boot would rock.

I hadn't eaten any at the time of posting. Now that I have, it's... Less exciting than I thought. The peanut butter is pretty lacking IMO, not nearly as strongly flavored as Reece's :/
Still, not bad. Your move Cadbury.

Got back from dropping MHG off at school and found that a circuit breaker had tripped at the house - mental note, get new clothes dryer.
And the home office was powered down. And I'd had like, a week's work open and unsaved on the puter. Documents half-written in about 3 different text and HTML editors, bits of images in unfinished layers in Photoshop, 4 different spreadsheets half-manipulated. Went to the fusebox, powered the house back up, made coffee, went back into the home office, everything was there like it never happened. Puter was on, documents and files and images all there, exactly as they'd been when the power went out. I love you, OS X. |

OS X owns so fucking hard, it is astronomically lightyears ahead of windows, it's unbelievable.

Meat Pack vs Meat Sack
Wasn't sure if this was a grind or oil - due to the outcome I thought I'd post it here.
Popped down to the butchers about half an hour ago (5 mins walk down the street) to pick up some stuff for the weekend. As I get back home I see that there's someone up next to our front door so I approach quietly (I like surprising people). As I get closer I can see that it's someone wearing a dirty hoodie and are trying to "fiddle" with the door (looked like they were trying to slide something down the side to pop the latch) so I yell out "oi!". Guy turns round (looked like a teenager) and takes off trying to get off the property (only way out is past me). My first reaction is to step aside and he obviously thought I was going to let him past me - nope - just getting some swinging room for the 2kg of meat I was carrying. Clocked him solidly in the side of the head with a nice satisfying *thump* which sent him off course, missing the stairs, into the front "garden" and straight into a big tree, bounces off that and lands face first onto the pavement. Unfortunatly he got up and ran for it before I could get down after him. Few scratch marks round the edge of the door but no damage done. He must have smacked his nose on the tree or pavement as there was a nice little splatter of blood on the pavement where he landed. Pissed about someone trying to break into the house at that time of the day but glad how it turned out - he was just lucky that I'd popped out as he would have had a slightly nastier surprise if I'd been home (inside) when he tried that... Pixie
