I find myself listening to lots of country music. It's almost the only genre of music these days that contains really good guitar playing.

country music is for inbreeds:
if you listen to it too long enough, you'll start to find your cousins strangely attractive

listen to some top 40 latin music charts and you'll find plenty of really good guitar playing somewhere http://top40-charts.com/videos/play.php?vid=jzBLyMyJCfE

...and why limit yourself to 'these days', when the old days have masters like these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEPLNaUR8lw ?

i can vaguely remember reading a weird book ... i think it had "circles" in the title. people would challenge each other with primate fights inside a circle using weapons such as flails. turns out they were living after some apocalypse but had little or no knowledge of it.

anyone know it?

In case you hadn't noticed, neither of those bands exist any more.

And both of them were basically country guitar bands when they DID exist.

Why? Well, one reason would be the need for consistency with the punishment for more serious crimes. On your scale, we'd need the death penalty for being caught drunk driving.

I deem that to be a more serious crime than drink driving. Or about similar.

Using "On your scale" where there's no indication of what his thoughts are on crimes of negligence is a pretty lazy troll, darling

Victim turns on three assailants with iron bar

http://www.stuff.co.nz/4806420a11.html

I wonder how those three are going to claim their insurance (if they are even insured)? "Our windscreens got smashed by this lunatic we've beaten up a few moments ago"

Quote:
Mike Johnston pulled his car over and called police after seeing a man hit the truck driver from behind. He said the beaten man, who had been kicked while on the ground, grabbed an iron bar from his van.

"They scattered like chickens," Johnston said. "He chased them and he smashed the car up, the front window and then the back window. One of them jumped in the car and the girl ran on to the street. He went to drive off and he hit her."

This is just after you call your insurance company and tell them you're about to head off to jail and your policy and w/s claim are likely declined.

It seems fair to say that you did not comprehend my post. Yes, I could help you see the meaning. Well, being honest here, maybe the best anyone could do is try to help you understand? I don't think it's worth my effort though.

Okay, in the spirit of the festive season, I'll try to explain. Have you considered that the reason my post seemed like a poor facsimile for a troll is that, well, it clearly wasn't one? Or, put another way, you seem to be claiming that an apple you're eating doesn't taste much like a banana. You must surely realise that such a statement gets a "no kidding" response from most others?

All better now?

So it's nearly 2 years since I left my job as an Account Manager in the Banking/Finance industry and I still have access to all the databases I used in that job. I have access to extremely sensitive information.
