depends on the girl you doofus! If you don't know her well enough to get some ideas of things to do that she might be into, you shouldn't be asking her out.

And also also, a lot of girls just want you to show some initiative, take control and plan SOMETHING. On the other hand, there are girls that do have quite strict standards (dinner should cost at least $X and be in 'this' neighbourhood) but as we all know from watching rom-coms they never get the nice guys in the end.

WTI Spot prices (third on the list on that linked page) are typically what's referred to as 'the price of oil' in NZ if there's no other info given. UK/Europe typically uses the Brent crude spot price for pricing oil.

So current price is at US $31.41 / bbl. Pretty amazing that it's nearly 1/5th of the price it was only 6 months ago.

think ill just go for the cook her dinner and watch a dvd kind of date, we know each other well enough that she wouldnt be intimidated by the idea of coming over to my place. although to be honest at this point, ive been asked out by 4 girls in the last few days so im not really too worried if it falls through. at the moment its more up to her to impress me than the other way around.

I thought this was a comedy so we watched it. Turns out they were actually competing to be America's smartest model. The question "what is heavier, a tonne of rocks or a tonne of feathers?" was answered with "a tonne of rocks".
The punishment was to eat a twinkie while the hostess read out how many carbs, fat grams and calories it was. Quality viewing right there.

Actually, as I think more about this, there are establishments opposite my work that seem to purport to provide the cut-to-the-chase aspects of a girlfriend experience. I don't know what the price will be, but it can't be that expensive surely?
