I'd much prefer a bit of reaming to atone for the Elon pump. However, I got a feeling we are now entering the "Boomers bragging about how much they can buy at high prices" phase.

Weeeeeeee
I was so close to selling a chunk because I really felt there was going to be a dip to where I could buy again. BTC was only about $500 off my artificial mark. |

Biggest 1-day drop in history and it’s already old news.

US Stock market rinsing off, then continuing its dollar inflation march. It's just taking Bitcoin down with it.
However, Silver stocks zig while the stock market zags. Interesting. Getting a little decoupled from "finance"

It's turning into a proper bleed out of paper hands. I feel sufficiently flagellated

My big chunk of crypto was the ETH I sold back last winter during COVID lockdown. Now I'm more risk averse and my new little portfolio is more diversified. The coins I care about now are Stellar, Ethereum, Cardano, Binance Coin, OG BTC, Compound (and Celo but really long term) basically in that order.
From today's blip my three that took the biggest hits were Stellar, Compound, and Ethereum in that order. The three that seem to be bouncing back the fastest are Binance Coin, Stellar, and Cardano in that order - all of them moving reassuringly in the past 60 mins. If I'd been trying to day trade today I would have been buying at the top and selling at the bottom of so many little movements that I would have been reamed. Praise be to Jonas for his advice back in January to quit that shit. |

HENCE WHY FOREVER ALONE
|
From a mining perspective, every time the price drops a bit, people appear to be bidding higher (in Satoshis) for the hashing power so I've been seeing better BTC payouts.

Binance knows what is best for your portfolio. Trust in Binance.

Nope, but converted back, lost a little on the conversion rate and now out of binance into a wallet.

So I guess Elon was again the maker of this fall?
If he can comment and make things go up, he can comment and make things go down. Saying that its was too high. But it was a weird comment for him to make after Tesla buying BTC |

We can attribute random news to the drop (Elon, Janet Yellen, Bill Gates, stock market correlation). It rose too high too quick and everyone's target jumped from $50k to $100k. Super greed, while everyone was expecting a pull back anyway so it was just a stand off seeing who would make the first move.

The drop is mainly because miners using F2Pool dumped 3633 BTC onto the market in a single transaction.

Did you get charged fees? Has Binance responded at all? That's fucked up.

ow that tx fee! gobble gobble.
Good luck to anyone trading today. Price has jumped between $48k and $44k almost 3 times in 24 hours. Big shake out. Gotta respect the dollar when it flexes. But Biden will usher in another $1.9T soon so all will be good in asset land.

Definitely will be assessing ADA & Polkadot (and stable coins instead of selling into bank account) during the next crypto winter.
It still has to prove itself when it's plan meets reality. Ethereum is established and tweaking to overcome real world problems. ADA doesn't know what its problems will be. In the middle of a bull market though, I've got my position and won't be fucking around FOMO'ing like I did during 2017. And fuck Binance flavour of the month.

Yep. But I was referring to the fact that Binance and the Cardano team (and Polkadot, but not so much) seem to be getting a lot of mileage out of the shitty current state of Ethereum. Every day that ETH 2.0 isn't here is a day in BNB/ADA/DOT's favour.
Right now it costs about $35 in fees to send $50 of ETH. That's fucking ridiculous. |

if you believe such things, ETH just formed an inverse H&S. And is considered extremely undervalued, just under it's all time high. Bodes well.

TA is pointless in this trading environment. The price moves in whatever direction the exchange cartel wants it to. If you’re not an insider you might as well flip a coin.

Someone better warn the exchange cartel that the US Gov just found 1.9 trillion USD down the back of the couch.
